Elyna Montoya Cespedes
Elyna Montoya Cespedes is a co-senior program manager at Youth In Focus. Elyna has extensive experience working with community-based organizations as well as institutional players, such as schools and school districts. In the area of youth-led action research, evaluation and planning, Elyna brings a refined knowledge of community context and the role of youth in generating systemic changes at both local and state levels. Born and raised in Sacramento County, Elyna graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. in Chicana/o Studies and Community and Regional Development. The U.C. Davis Department of Chicana/o Studies awarded her the 2003 Outstanding Community Service Award.
