George R. Flores, MD, MPH
George R. Flores is a Senior Program Officer with The California Endowment, one of the nation?s largest health foundations. Dr. Flores works in the Health Disparities strategic program focusing on projects to improve community health. Previously, he served as: Health Officer and Director of Public Health in San Diego County and in Sonoma County; Clinical Assistant Professor for the UCSF / Sutter Family Practice Residency Program; Director, Project HOPE in Guatemala; and Deputy Health Officer in Santa Barbara County. Dr. Flores received his MD from Utah College of Medicine, an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health, and completed the State and Local Government Executive Program at the Kennedy School of Government.
