Christine Maulhardt, MPA
Christine Maulhardt is the Director of Obesity Prevention for the California Medical Association (CMA) Foundation. The CMA Foundation’s Obesity Prevention project aims to decrease the prevalence of overweight and obesity in California’s children and families by turning physicians into educators and advocates for healthy eating and physical activity, and by providing physicians with clinical tools and skills to address overweight and obesity with their patients. Ms. Maulhardt works with California’s 38 medical societies, 10 medical schools, and countless health professionals to coordinate health care providers’ obesity prevention efforts throughout the state. Ms. Maulhardt received her B.A. from the University of Washington and her M.P.A. from George Washington University.
