Lisa Mancino, PhD
Lisa Mancino is a researcher with the Economic Research Service of USDA in the division of Diet, Safety and Health Economics. Her overall research interest is to identify how differences among individuals in terms of income, education, nutrition knowledge and household composition affect their food choices and how they balance their demand for taste, nutrition, convenience and price. In that vein, she analyzes food consumption and time use data to determine how economic and demographic factors correlate with differences in food choices, diet quality and health outcomes. Lisa received her PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Minnesota.
