Elizabeth Imholz, JD
Elizabeth (Betsy) Imholz is Director of the West Coast Office of Consumers Union (CU), nonprofit publisher of Consumer Reports magazine. Ms. Imholz is a recognized expert on health policy, consumer protection, and federal student financial aid. Prior to her work at CU, Ms. Imholz was the Consumer Law Coordinator of Legal Services for New York City and Director of the Higher Education and Training Access Project, a non-profit advocacy endeavor on student financial aid and vocational school and job training issues. This spring she presented at a joint European Commission/US DHHS meeting in Brussels on obesity and marketing to kids.
