Conference Location:
The California Nutrition Network for Healthy, Active Families 10th Anniversary Celebration Conference, 2006 will be held on the third floor on the Sacramento Convention Center. The Convention Center is located at 1400 J Street in downtown Sacramento.
Conference Hotel:
The hotel for this year’s conference is the Hyatt Regency Sacramento located at 1209 L Street. They are offering special overnight rates to conference participants.
Rooms MUST BE BOOKED BY JULY 20, 2006 in order to qualify for the special conference rates.

Secondary Hotel
The Hyatt is now sold out for August 8th. We have an additional room block for August 8th and August 9th at the Inn Off Capitol Park, a much smaller hotel at 1530 N St near the California Department of Health Services. Parking:
Parking for the Hyatt Regency Sacramento is operated by Central Parking (916 446-3069) in the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. Enter the parking garage from either L street (one-way going west) or 12th Street.
Self-parking for registered Hyatt Regency Sacramento hotel guests is $16.50 per night which includes in and out privileges at no additional cost. If you check in before entering the garage, you can use your room key to enter the garage. If you park your car first, notify the clerk when you check in at the front desk that you are parked in the garage. Either way the cost of parking will be added to your hotel bill. Overnight parking is valid until 4 pm on day of checkout.
Self-parking for non-registered guests is $3.50 per hour for the first hour and $1.75 for each additional ½ hour up to a maximum of $18/day. If you arrive before 9:00 am the maximum is $12.00/day.

Airport Transportation:
Shuttle Service:
There is no courtesy shuttle available to or from the Hyatt Regency Sacramento or Sacramento Convention Center. SuperShuttle is the exclusive provider of on-call van service at Sacramento International Airport. The costs from the airport to downtown are approximately:
Shared Van: $14 for the first person and $8 for each additional person
Private Van: $46 for up to seven people.
Reservations are not required (but always a good idea) for the trip from the airport to the hotel unless you need a handicapped accessible van. Pickup areas for passengers are located in the ground transportation area adjacent to baggage claim in Terminal A and at the center island curb in front of Terminal B.

You can locate a taxi in the ground transportation area adjacent to the baggage claim area at Terminal A and across from the airport hotel at Terminal B.
